About Heather Dawn
Heather has lived in Sarasota since 1978 and has been a part of the medical community
starting in 1983. From a young age Heather knew that a career in Nursing was who she was created to be. She stared as a Certified Nursing Assistant in High School, furthering her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and continuing her education as a Registered Nurse. She continues her education and knowledge with advanced Nursing studies and certifications.
She has a vast background in several areas of expertise, from Hospice, Integrative Medicine, Mental Health, Acute Care settings, Administration, Home Care and Care Management.
It is in Care Management that Heather found her true calling and passion having felt the time limiting frustration she had with her patients in the clinical setting. With her skills, knowledge and compassion it is here that she is best able to enrich the lives of her clients and their families.
As a care giver for several of her own family members over the years, Heather had personally experienced the challenges that come from having everyday life commitments compiled with the increased care needs of loved ones. Having experienced the concerns of managing the care needs of family from afar, it has become her mission to assist others in bridging the gap between clients, health care providers and families.
